Are you a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist seeking a fulfilling contract opportunity? ProCare Therapy is actively looking for a passionate professional to join our team in Hazel Park, MI, and contribute to the mental health and academic success of students.

Job Description: As a School Psychologist with ProCare Therapy, you will be a vital member of the educational team, providing essential psychological services to students. Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals, you will conduct assessments, deliver counseling services, and contribute to the development of positive and inclusive learning environments. This position involves working with a diverse student population and actively participating in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges
  • Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing social-emotional difficulties
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Participate in the IEP process and provide input on educational planning
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school climate
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Michigan School Psychologist Certification
  • Proven experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing interventions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to special education
