Requirements:

• Applicants must meet all local and state requirements for Special Education Teachers.
• Possession of a valid teaching license or certification in Special Education.

• Thorough understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support across various academic subjects and life skills to students with disabilities.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress reports, behavior records, and IEP documentation.
• Participate actively in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current on best practices in special education.
