Job Title: Special Education Teacher (4th-6th Grade)

Position Type: Contract

Overview: We are seeking dedicated and certified Special Education Teachers to join our team in addressing the diverse needs of students in 4th through 6th grades. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with varying exceptionalities. Successful candidates will be certified in Special Education in the state of Arizona.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and support staff to address the holistic needs of each student.
• Utilize differentiated instruction strategies to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of students.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and behavior.

Requirements:

• Valid Special Education certification in the state of Arizona.
• Experience working with students with diverse exceptionalities preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility, patience, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
