Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Georgia. As a Virtual School SLP, you will provide essential speech and language services to students enrolled in virtual learning programs. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic and personal development of students while working remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and munication abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders, in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
• Provide direct virtual therapy sessions to address speech and language goals and objectives outlined in students' IEPs.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital resources effectively to engage students in virtual therapy sessions and facilitate learning.
• Monitor and document students' progress toward speech and language goals, maintaining accurate records and reports.
• municate regularly with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to coordinate services and support students' overall academic success.
• Participate in virtual meetings, professional development opportunities, and team collaboration sessions as required.
• Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology, particularly as they relate to virtual service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Georgia.
• Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification.
• Experience working with school-aged children with a variety of speech and language disorders.
• Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology to deliver virtual services.
• Excellent munication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently in a virtual environment.
• Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
