Industrial HVAC Technician

Commercial & Industrial HVAC Repair Technicians wanted for a large manufacturing complex. This is a DIRECT HIRE position, NOT contract or temp. It is also a FULL TIME position offering benefits. 3 Day & 5 Day schedules available. This facility prides itself on low turnover, great benefits, and work-life balance! In this position, you will stay busy performing in all areas related to HVAC systems and Building Automation. Should be capable of performing a wide variety of work to ensure that the facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and effective working condition. Repairs and Maintainanace Includes the following:

• Heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Install new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guideline
• Expected to be able to perform general Maintenance and repair in all areas of assignment.

Additional Notes:

• Background check and drug test MUST pass
• 3-5 years of experience and/or experience+training required
• HS Diploma or GED required
• Must have basic computer skills
• OT may be required

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.
• Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities including performing material handling equipment troubleshooting and repair; basic activities such as electrical, plumbing.
• Maintains building, equipment, shop and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Completes work orders for work performed and includes parts and inventory used.
• Document all work order activities.
• Responsible for productivity/accountability of assigned work orders and daily activities.
• Follow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures, and other safety and environmental procedures/policies and ensure compliance with all company policies, building codes and safety initiatives as assigned.
• Support projects including collaborating with leadership and contractor/vendors, as assigned.
• Punch list all assigned projects and tasks to ensure adherence to company standards and specifications.
• Participate in all Preventive Maintenance tasks and Inventory Management as assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

• CFC Certified (1 year of experience is required)
• Low Voltage/High Voltage (3 years of experience is required)
• DDC Controls (3 years of experience is required)
• Energy Management Systems (3 years of experience is required)
• Driver License (1 year of experience is required)
• Mechanical Maintenance (3 years of experience is required)
• Commercial HVAC Repair (3 years of experience is required)
