Job Title: Special Education TeacherJob Summary:

Our Special Education School is urgently seeking multiple Special Education Teachers for full-time contract positions for the remainder of the school year, from ASAP to 6/12/24. We have various caseloads available, and we are keen to acmodate your preferences and qualifications. Candidates must possess an active Washington State Special Education Teacher license.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address student needs effectively.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation as required by state and federal regulations.
• Provide ongoing munication and support to parents and caregivers.

Requirements:

• Active Washington State Special Education Teacher license.
• Experience working with diverse learning needs preferred.
• Knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• 3 professional references from a supervisor/manager.
• Active and reachable references required for official offer consideration.
• Interview availability for the uping week.
• Education Staff Associate (ESA) certification required.
• Valid identification for access to Military Base:
