Safety Coordinator

We are now hiring a Safety Coordinator in the city of Modesto, CA!

Title: Safety Coordinator | Pay Rate: $19 - $20.00 DOE |Benefits: Medical and Dental

***Position requires driving must have valid driver's license***

*** Must be open to Local Travel***

As aSafetyCoordinator, you will have the unique opportunity to develop a great career insafety. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of employees and that we comply with all regulatory and OSHA requirements. This includes walking the floor, training new hires onsafetyprotocols and processes, addressing any unsafe actions or conditions, completing injury investigations and reports, hosting dailysafetymeetings, and tracking injury data.

You will need to be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds, and have strong communication skills. This position requires a person with a passion forsafetyand an eye for detail. We are looking for someone with the drive to make sure our employees are working insafeconditions at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience insafetycompliance or related field is preferred, but not required
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
• Passion forsafetyand knowledge of OSHA regulations is preferred.

In addition to the duties outlined above, the successful candidate will also build a culture ofsafetywithin the organization. This includes developing and implementingsafetypolicies and procedures, training employees on propersafetyprotocols, conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment for potential hazards and engaging in proactive initiatives to prevent workplace injuries. Furthermore, they will be responsible for promoting asafeworking environment, staying up to date on industry trends and regulations, and continuously educating our employees onsafetyrequirements.
