Adecco has partnered with one of our favorite clients for a direct hire opportunity!!!! With the home office right outside of down town and servicing the greater Columbus Area we are looking for multiple Carpenters. With pay ranging from $25/hr- $30/hr and amazing benefits.
Must have 5-10 years of Commercial Construction Experience
Job Description: Carpenters " Commercial experience 5-10 years"
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Mathematical skills and analytical skills necessary to do figure material quantities, math skills for reading tapes, measurements, and layout.
· Able to read blueprints and rebar shops.
· Proficiency with industry hand and power tools, including saws, setting up of laser instruments.
· Ability to work with the layout and installation of foundations, keeping grade for excavators, installation of rebar in foundations, setting templates, installation of dowels and placement of foundations.
· Building cast-in-place walls and piers, would include setting templates for wall plates for panels, setting forms for walls and piers, installing box-outs for doors, windows, and brick ledges.
· Constructing scaffolding and platforms for structural cast-in-place decks.
· Checking work for accuracy of work, wall lines, placement of anchor bolts in continuous footer, spread footer, and walls, and piers.
· Knowledge of commercial construction and practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control.
· To have a good eye for details and be able to check that the work is level, plumb and square.
