Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with an international professional trade association in the search for an Event Coordinator. This event professional must be a go-getter that is willing to learn the ways of supporting the successful event and convention execution. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in project management and a passion for delivering exceptional member experiences. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic team to ensure seamless event operations and build strong relationships with vendors and partners. Responsibilities:
  • Assist with various aspects of event logistics and operations, including exhibitor and sponsorship management.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Partnerships team to develop and manage event budgets, track revenue generation, and understand exhibitor needs.
  • Create and maintain detailed records on sponsorship packages and proposals.
  • Oversee sponsor fulfillment and ensure all exhibitor and sponsor contracts and invoices are complete and paid in full before each event.
  • Coordinate with the Communications department on developing operational and communication newsletters for event attendees.
  • Manage and update all event databases, including exhibitor and sponsor information.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in tradeshows, events, or sponsorships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically for week long events across the country.
  • Superior organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software programs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Knowledge of event industry trends and technologies (a plus).
