• Receive incoming product shipments by physically counting and verifying product received compared to invoicing
• Accurately enters receiving information in the MAC21 software system to maintain accurate inventory records
• Regularly reviews and audits inventory information and records for accuracy and to maintain necessary stock levels
• Conduct accurate cycle and security counts. Makes inventory adjustments based on established guidelines
• Prepare purchase orders for product purchasing or to locate new, additional, or special order products
• Help to ensure store personnel are following established selling processes
• Maintain inventory and displays to merchandising guidelines
• Review store product tagging and signage for accuracy, updating as often as needed
• Provide information to customers and co-workers about product usage, availability and application
• Attend and participate in store meetings, training sessions, and company-sponsored programs
• Other duties as assigned by management or by business need

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a high school diploma/GED with 1-3 months of experience; or a similar combination of education/experience

• Be able to read, comprehend and write instructions and correspondence
• Be able to communicate in one-on-one and small-group situations

• Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

• Be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Be able to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations
• Utilize company point-of-sale system (MAC21), WorkDay, Microsoft Office, and other 3rd party software

• Be able to pass all Company training regarding equipment usage, including obtaining the forklift certification

WORK AVAILABILITY

McCoy's retail locations are open 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Depending on part-time or full-time position requirements, employees should be available to work the hours per day/week, including overtime if necessary, to meet business needs during regular business hours. Employees must maintain acceptable attendance as scheduled to meet business needs.
