Garage Door Installer

serves as the sales and service installer for residential/commercial garage doors, garage door openers, and related components. The technician provides multiple alternative recommendations for the repair and replacement of necessary parts for garage doors. Will provide appropriate services or replacements to suit the job. You will interact with customers daily providing them with excellent customer service. The owner assigns work assignments. You would be required to work closely with the owner-operator and expected to deliver top-quality work. Appropriate dress is required and due to driving company vehicles must be drug-free. No smoking while in a company vehicle or on work sites is permitted. Hourly wage depends on experience. Experience preferred but not required. This is a small company that has been operating for over 25 years and is looking to hire 1-2 full-time employees. 

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license
• Construction skills: reading a tape measure
• Construction skills: operating handheld tools
• Construction skills: framing
• Warehouse skills: loading and unloading trucks
• Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
• Able to work in an environment with heights over 6 feet
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 80 lbs
• Available to work: early morning
• Available to work: weekdays
• Willing to travel locally

Preferred qualifications:
