Maintenance Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Are you a Maintenance Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity in South Charleston, OH? Staffmark is currently seeking a skilled individual to join our dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation and meticulous upkeep of all production equipment.

We offer a competitive pay rate of $18.02 to $35.09 per hour (based on experience and shift), and our partner company provides essential benefits upon hire. Our shift availability includes 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, and 11:00 pm - 7:30 am.

As a Maintenance Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in monitoring production lines for smooth operation, responding promptly to any equipment malfunctions, and repairing, programming, rebuilding, inspecting, modifying, calibrating, and maintaining production equipment. You'll conduct preventative maintenance during shutdowns and weekends, input daily readings, generate reports, and communicate results. Additionally, you'll troubleshoot and repair various facility equipment maintenance systems, operate power lift equipment, perform overhead work, and assist with electrical tie-ins and machine moves. Collaboration with co-workers, customers, vendors, and officials, maintaining a clean work environment, seeking process improvements, promoting safety, and effective communication regarding production issues are also vital aspects of the role.

Requirements:

• 2-4 year technical degree preferred.
• 1-2 years’ facility and equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of production machinery, plant electrical, mechanical, PLC, HVAC, hydraulics, compressed air systems, pneumatics, data entry, and Microsoft Excel & Word.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive arm movements, lift up to 50 pounds, stand on concrete for extended periods, work mandatory overtime, and withstand temperatures up to 100 degrees.
• Occasional travel may be required. A valid license for company car use is necessary.
