Job Title: Sr. Technical Account Specialist Global Healthcare RD&E
Duration: 12 Month Contract (possibility to extend or conversation)
Location: ONSITE - 13000 Deerfield Parkway, Ste 300, Milton, GA 30004 

Job Description:

  • Our client's Healthcare Division’s Research and Development teams create and commercialize novel infection prevention solutions for hospital environments including patient and equipment drapes and room turnover supplies for the operating and patient room theatres.  This position is for the technical service support to our customers and sales team with an emphasis on surgical solutions.
  • This position requires knowledge in handling technical service inquiries, like assisting with phone and e-mail requests, providing support through creation of technical documentation, maintaining technical documents and completing questionnaires of a technical nature.
  • The team member will be required to interact closely with the sales team and RD&E members as well as cross-functional partners such as Marketing, Regulatory, and Quality.  
  • This position requires a personality that is open to discussions with our customers and the sales team, is adept in reviewing and acquiring technical information and has good skills in technical reporting both verbally and written.
  • Given the nature of our client's surgical products, former experience in a technical role supporting medical devices is preferred although backgrounds in other technical disciplines will be considered. 
Main Responsibilities:
  • Handle technical service inquiries, phone and e-mail requests coming from customers, sales and marketing teams
  • Create customer (internal and external) facing documentation of a technical nature including but not limited to technical data sheets, declarations of compliance and letters of attestation
  • Support the completion of corporate account bids and cross references 
  • Support the completion of customer questionnaires, delegating where appropriate to subject matter experts (SME’s), and ensure accurate and timely completion
  • Work with cross-functional team members within quality, regulatory, sustaining engineering, and marketing to support completion of custom customer requests
  • Maintain accurate records of the support provided
  • Handle special project assignments as needed
  • Develop, maintain , and train users on product technical sheet database
Basic Qualifications:
  • Degree or Advanced degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.  BS and 2+ years or MS and 1+ years experience in a technical service, R&D, Quality, or Analytical role.  
  • Has general experience fulfilling customer technical requests for information, documentation and explaining things of a technical nature verbally and in writing
  • Experience working with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with FDA and medical device regulation
  • Strong background in materials regulatory compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a technical/quality role supporting medical devices
  • Experience with project management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer service oriented
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
