Our client in Warwick, RI is seeking a Forklift Operator - Shipper/Receiver to join their team. As a Forklift Driver - Shipper/Receiver, you will be part of the Logistics Team. The ideal candidate will have reliability, excellent communication and teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator - Shipper/Receiver
Location: Warwick, RI
Pay Rate: $19/hour
What’s the Job?
- Performs various warehouse duties so that customer orders, inventory, equipment and facility are processed and managed
- Performs receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading duties
- Performs transactions necessary to maintain accurate records and inventory balances
- Operates various warehouse equipment including sit down forklift, stock picker and turret forklift
- Maintains equipment including safety checks
What’s Needed?
- Minimum 1 year warehouse work experience
- Forklift certification required
- Computer experience necessary-Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards and Internet
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote compliance with them
