Position: Senior Accountant – Contract/Temporary
Location: Denver, CO
Salary: $32.00-$36.00/HR
Schedule: Hybrid 2-3 days a week in-office; Tuesdays required in-office
About the Position: Our client, a leading medical center in the Denver metro area, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team for a 3-month contract position. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is eager to take on challenging and impactful work. Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform complex journal entry preparation and review
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and reporting
- Partner with department leaders to provide strategic financial insights
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
- Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- CPA certification strongly preferred
- Proficient in financial reporting, GL reconciliations, and data analysis
- Experience in the healthcare industry a plus
