Job Description: To maintain daily role/function of the food, beverage and general storerooms. Responsibilities: Responsible for proper receiving, storing and issuing of all food and beverage products in the food, beverage and general storerooms under the guidance of the Procurement manager. Inspect and unpack all merchandise received, and stocks/stores it. Insures that all invoices are properly accounted for; receives all items through Birch Street Systems or other applicable P-2-P systems. Assists Procurement manager in keeping the storeroom properly organized by sorting by group as stated by the manager. This would include insuring all proper Procurement procedures are being followed. Assists in annotating pricing and adjustments, if needed, in the end of the month inventory; also being aware of the importance of the first in/first out (F.I.F.O.) rotation. Strictly adheres to the operating hours of the storerooms. Assist Procurement manager in filling General Storeroom requisitions. Assist in end-of-month inventories and insures that pars are being properly maintained for all food stuffs needed within the Culinary Departments. Keep all unauthorized persons "off premises"; check requisitions for proper authorization. Assists Procurement manager in the inspection of the refrigeration units and brings to his attention any deviation from the set temperatures as well as any deterioration of the quality of the perishables (record temperature on a daily log). Responsible for the cleaning of all storerooms, coolers, loading docks and work areas. To follow/adhere to Omni Hotels operating procedures and local health regulations. Start a list for out of stocks/goods not received "items" so that follow-up can be made. Verify that no requisitions are left open (all requisitions should be completed and closed out). Check and lock all coolers/storeroom doors before departure at end-of-day. Inputs and accounts for all mail and/or packages received during the day; loads data from those packages into Track-it and Epitome for later retrieval by Guests. Capable of attending the daily Banquet Event Order meeting, making notes of needed or requested items and using proper vendors to procure those items in a timely manner. Maintains excellent communication with all departments within the hotel to include all associates. Perform other duties assigned. Internet savvy, capable of ordering food, beverage and general items.

Qualifications: Must be flexible and able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to handle repeated lifting, pushing/pulling 150lbs and carrying up to 50lbs. Should have basic computer operation understanding.
