Penmac Staffing is currently seeking applicants for Remanufacturing Technician for a major remanufacturing facility in Nixa, MO.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Remanufacturing Technician performs routine and non-routine production duties utilizing machines and tools to disassemble and rebuild Air Dryer components. The Technician is responsible for the throughput and quality of the product which is measured to a standard. The product produced is necessary for the final Compressor Assembly.
SCHEDULE:
  • Monday Through Friday
  • 2:30 PM to 12:00 AM
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate a manufacturing machine using HMI Interface
  • Load bulk raw materials into hoppers 
  • Apply batch numbers and package finished materials.
  • Perform quality checks on parts produced from machine
  • Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed mostly in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Some exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures—for long periods of time is possible. This employee will be required to demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
SKILL/ KNOWLEDGE/ ABILITY/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or GED,
  • Excellent shop math and reasoning skills,
  • Mechanical Aptitude,
  • Ability to retain and follow work instructions,
  • Proven team player with the ability to communicate effectively with other employees and supervisors,
  • Attention to detail.
