Job Summary

This position uniquely manages all areas of the Shearer’s portfolio and allows for this individual to lead on WMT International. This role works closely with the Walmart Team Lead, the internal cross-functional teams and the Customer (Merchandising & Private Brands; Walmart - Salty Snacks & Cookies/Crackers, including International).  This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities & execution that support the business around the areas of Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing & Shelving. This role will also serve as back-up to the WMT VP as needed.

Your Seat at the Table: 

• SALES ANALYSIS (M.A.P.S.) & PRESENTATION
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed in Luminate/RL/Nielsen:
    • Merchandising (ie – Lift analysis on Features/Displays, Rollbacks, etc)
    • Assortment: (ie – new item pre-sell opportunity; new item launch performance, mix analysis)
    • Pricing: (ie – analyze price elasticity & lifts from GV or competitor price changes)
    • Shelving: (ie – analyze Mod changes and/or space recommendations)
  • Utilize insights to build strategic selling stories that drive value
• FORECASTING ACCURACY
  • Utilizing POS and shipment data-points, develop weekly POV on forecast driving forecast variance down.
  • Maintain rolling 90-day thru fiscal year forecast that send accurate demand signal and aligns with WMT’s forecast.
  • Update the forecast as needed via RMS process
• NEW ITEM CREATION
  • Responsible for entering all Stage Gate PIF (Product Intake Forms) to kick-off projects & present on LCM calls
  • Responsible for setting-up all Walmart new item #’s (WINs) via Item360
    • Ensure that we have WINs for the various Salty 9DVN’s (950/954/957)
  • PRICING ALIGNMENT
    • Responsible for setting-up & maintaining all areas of Pricing
      • Shearer’s via DPM
      • WMT via Item360 & PO Discrepancy forms as needed to minimize deductions on front-end.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferable analytical/business related) and 3-5 years related experience in replenishment and/or sales analytics required
• Luminate (Retail Link) experience and/or Certification required

• Driver’s License is required
• Proficient in Walmart systems
  • Primary: Retail Link DSS, Luminate, Item360
  • Secondary: GRS, OTIF/SQEP, NOVA
• Proficient in Windows Office
  • Excel: pivots, v-look-ups, formulas, etc.
  • PowerPoint: building Replenishment TB decks
• Proficient in Syndicated data systems
  • AC Nielsen or IRI
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be detail-oriented and able to manage complexity
• Must be able to prioritize initiatives and balance with daily tasks
• Must possess a strong sense of urgency
