Project Cost Accountant

Kavaliro is seeking a Project Cost Accountant for an excellent client in Boca Raton, FL. This position is a direct hire role. ResponsibilitiesMonitor project progress from inception through completion and anticipate, identify, and work with the project team to resolve project issues Analyze cost variances and discrepancies, providing insights and recommendations to project managers. Monitor and track project costs, including direct and indirect expenses, labor, and materials Perform cost reconciliations of projects versus adjuster’s reports. QualificationsBachelor’s degree required GAAP experience and and any accounting software experience 3+ years of experience in accounting, cost accounting, or similar disciplines, preferably within the construction industry or comparable industry Intermediate to advanced skill level using Excel Detail oriented, strong communication skills, able to communicate and work with the project team to identify issues and ensure alignment with overall financial goals.
