Field Service Technician Mechanic
Location: West Rye, TX

SUMMARY
The Aggregate Field Service Technician (Mechanic) position will be instrumental in repairing and maintaining all front-end loaders, skid steer, forklifts, and cranes while maintaining a safety-first attitude. Some knowledge of commercial truck repair is a plus. This position requires management resources to adhere to all company standards, policies, and procedures and comply with all federal and state regulations, including OSHA, TCEQ, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will analyze malfunctions of all company equipment and perform repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance of all equipment.
Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoist and hand tools.
Examines parts for damage and excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
Replaces defective engines and subassemblies, such as transmissions, hydraulic cylinders, etc.
Welds broken parts and structural members.
Tests overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
Servicing equipment as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with a disability to perform essential functions.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Minimum two years of related experience and a combination of both. Thorough knowledge of construction, diesel, and other heavy vehicles and equipment. CDL is preferred but not required.
Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products and ability to adapt to other computer software.
