Description:

Hydration Room's People Operations Team is looking for an energetic and organized Human Resources Specialist to recruit and onboard our perspective team members. This position requires a professional with project management or operational experience. Effective communication skills are vital as this position interacts and coordinates with every department within Hydration Room to provide a streamlined and efficient onboarding process.


The Human Resources Specialist will focus on the Talent Acquisition at Hydration Room. This individual you will play a crucial role in attracting and securing top talent for Hydration Room clinic locations. You will be responsible for high volume- full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates to meet the staffing needs of our clinic operations.

Requirements:

This is not a remote position and requires availability Monday through Friday based out of the Corporate Office in Irvine, California.


1. Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment:

• Proactively source and recruit candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.

• Screen resumes, conduct video or phone screenings, and interview candidates to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.

• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the interview process.


2. Talent Pipeline Management:

• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs within the defined geography.

• Develop and nurture relationships with passive candidates and industry professionals to expand the talent network.


3. Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing:

• Represent Hydration Room as an employer of choice by promoting our company culture, values, and career opportunities.

• Develop and implement recruitment marketing strategies to attract and engage candidates, including job postings, social media, employer branding initiatives, and participation in external events (i.e. Career Fairs).


4. Candidate Experience and Onboarding:

• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.

• Provide timely and transparent communication to candidates regarding their application status, interview feedback, and next steps.

• Collaborate with hiring managers, and People Operations colleagues to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.

• Facilitate clinic site interviewing and onboarding events throughout the Southern California region for candidates.


5. Data Management:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including candidate profiles, interview feedback, and hiring metrics.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of virtual platforms and software such as Google, Google Sheets, Google Docs and Microsoft office, Teams, SharePoint

• Strong sourcing and networking skills, with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently, be flexible, prioritize, manage multiple activities simultaneously and maintain high-quality results in a fast-paced, changing environment.

• Strong team player that values hands-on collaboration and the ability to take initiative and work well independently or with a team.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources, recruiting or talent acquisition, with a focus on high-volume recruitment.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment laws.
  • Experience supporting field operations or clinic locations is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to traverse the entire facility
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift/or move up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to have transportation to travel to multiple clinics in the Southern California Area


Compensation details: 28-33 Hourly Wage
