Chiropractic Therapy Tech/Insurance Verification Specialist

Progressive chiropractic practice focused on providing the community with chiropractic care. We are looking for a professional, service oriented team player to join our busy chiropractic practice in Grove City, Ohio. The full time (32 hours a week) position will play an essential role working with patients, doctors and insurance providers. The ideal candidate will have an excellent work ethic, be quick learner, a great communicator, enjoy multi-tasking, be flexible and have a positive attitude. The position also requires strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.

Essential job responsibilities include:  Assist the doctors with various therapies, prepare treatment rooms, control flow of the office by directing patients to the appropriate areas, communicate well with doctors, patients and insurance providers, exercise confidentially practices according to HIPPA, work with patients to collect necessary insurance information and documentation and resolve and stay up to date on all insurance policies and regulations.  

Education:  High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.  

Experience:  Two or more years of customer service experience, knowledge of medical terminology and coding, excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work with patients as well as individually in a fast paced environment.
