Job Description
Kett Engineering is looking for good, dependable and safe drivers to join our team at our customer location in Elmendorf, TX. The position requires the drivers to drive and evaluate advanced tractor/trailers and other commercial vehicles for testing purposes.
You will be conducting the pre & post trip safety inspections as required of the vehicles. Once completed you will be driving on "real world" durability local test routes on various road surfaces throughout a 10 hour shift.
NO LOADING! NO UNLOADING! NO DELIVERIES! ALL LOCAL!
At the end of the shift you will be completing a report and document findings during your shift in a very clear and concise manner.
Monday-Friday (some Saturdays as needed)
1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm
2nd Shift: 4:30pm - 2:30am
Requirements:
- Must have CDL A and DOT Card.
- A clean driving record; no moving violations, no points, no DUIs/DWIs.
- Must have Manual Transmission Experience.
- Must have at least 3 years tractor trailer experience.
- Attention to detail with the ability to communicate findings both verbally and in writing.
- Able to contribute in a team environment.
