Optometrist

Job opportunity on the Oregon Coast for a part-time or full-time optometrist position.

We are looking to hire at least one, but possibly two, optometrists for a part or full-time position between our three clinics on the Southern Oregon Coast located in Bandon, Coquille, and Gold Beach.  We have well established, independently owned clinics with full schedules to keep you as busy as you want to be and our rural location means practicing to the fullest scope you feel comfortable with. Our clinics are fully equipped with diagnostic equipment including visual fields, OPTOS, OCT, iCare, autorefractor, corneal topographer and digital anterior seg slit lamp cameras. 

We are primary care clinics but see a lot of ocular disease as well a mix of vision exams and pediatrics.  We have a surgeon that does cataract surgeries, corneal surgeries, and MIGS for our clinics as well as a retina specialist that comes to our clinics weekly. We also work closely with an oculoplastic surgeon in nearby Eugene. We have an in-house vision therapy program so if that is your interest you could work as much VT as you want into your weekly schedule. 

We offer a daily base salary, but offer pay based on a percentage of production as well, so you are not limited on how much you can make. We have a 401k program with 3% match. We provide a health insurance stipend and cover the cost of malpractice insurance, license renewal as well as an annual CE allowance. There is opportunity for ownership for the right person. 

Our offices are open Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends. We have created an environment where coworkers can feel like family and strive for balance between work and life outside the clinic. We are located near endless hiking, fishing, golfing and other outdoor activities, not to mention the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
