CNC Operator/Programmer- Cedar Hill, TX
Pay Rate: 25hr
Schedule: 6am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday)
**Previous experience required**
PDQ Staffing Skilled Trades is seeking for a CNC machine operator/programmer in the Dallas, TX area. The CNC Operator will be responsible for the following: Performs manual and machine operator tasks and setups related to metal manufacturing operations including set-up and adjustment of feeder, blades, and delivery. Ensures a safe working environment free from environmental or mechanical hazards.
Accurately reads and interprets job tickets, bills of material, manufacturing plans, and other products.
Monitors production output maintains supply of necessary items and completes production records and reports to standard. Performs routine preventative maintenance and housekeeping of work area.
We’re looking for a CNC Operator with:
• Demonstrates effective organizational and communication skills.
• Works as a team; cooperative with fellow employees, respectful to leadership, and contributes to the company and the customer.
• Facilitate communication between production personnel while work is in process.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to prevent errors and solve problems.
• Read in English and understand job ticket specifications and instructions.
• Apply written instructions in English; Provides reports written in English.
• Performs basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Accurately measures items using metric and standard tools.
• Follows and enforces safety procedures.
