Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts accurately and efficiently, following precise specifications and quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings and conduct tests to ensure the accuracy of production runs, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies or issues with machine outputs.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand dimensions, tolerances, and the sequence of machining operations required.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery to prevent downtime and ensure continuous production efficiency.
- Collaborate with CNC Programmers and other members of the manufacturing team to optimize machining processes and improve overall productivity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with a strong ability to operate, set up, and maintain CNC machinery.
- Solid understanding of reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of machining properties of various materials, including metals and composites, commonly used in aerospace, medical, automotive, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Familiarity with quality control measures and standards relevant to precision machining.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication skills and a commitment to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal training or certification in CNC Machining or a related field.
- Experience with programming CNC machines, particularly with an understanding of G/M Code.
- Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and troubleshooting machine-related issues.
- Willingness to participate in continuous improvement initiatives and adapt to new technologies or processes introduced in the machining area.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment that prioritizes precision, such as in aerospace, medical, automotive, or industrial sectors.
