Line cook

1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
2. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
3. Ensure that food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitized at all times.
4. Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary.
5. Follow proper food handling procedures and safety regulations.
6. Assist with the development of new menu items and specials.
7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
8. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.

1. Proven experience as a Line Cook in a similar role.
2. Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
3. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
7. Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution (preferred but not required).
