Lifeguard

The Lifeguard in Franklin, WI, US is responsible for minimizing and eliminating any potential dangers around aquatic areas. The Lifeguard must focus on creating a safe and secure environment at all times.

$10 - $20 hourly

• Monitor patrons of the facility and take appropriate measures to protect their safety in cases of emergency.
• Attend training and mandatory meetings.
• Submit timely reports and record attendance information.
• Possess the energy and the ability to work without supervision.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service at all times.
• Possess the ability to pass pre-employment skills assessment.
• Have prior aquatics experience (preferred).
• Keep a close watch on visitors in the facility and swiftly act in cases of emergencies to secure their safety.
• Keep the facility in a neat condition by carrying out necessary cleaning.
• Participate in relevant trainings and meetings as scheduled.
• Render first-aid care and other necessary assistance before the arrival of emergency services.
• Submit reports and other records when due.
• Demonstrate self-motivated, energetic behaviour and the capability to work autonomously.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and possess energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to positively interact with the general public.
• American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification.
• American Red Cross First Aid for the Professional Rescuer Certification.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
• American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification preferred.
