TITLE: Customer Support Representative

DEPARTMENT: Customer Service

POSITION REPORTS TO: CAO

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative with the drive and determination to help meet the company’s strategic objectives. The customer Support Representative will be a key point of contact for our customers, answering questions & addressing concerns. Our success depends on delighting our customers; each day our team lives up to that responsibility. Customer service is a deeply held value of our company. We are looking for ambitious, hardworking, eager to learn, flexible, self-starting individual, excited to join a fast, growing, and energetic team. This position will require great phone skills, attention to details, multi-tasking, teamwork, and a willingness to have fun.

Experience Summary: Good written and verbal communication skills with strong work ethic and ability to work against deadlines. Must be organized. Computer experience required in MS Office. Our customer service efforts are expanding and we are seeking an energetic individual with a passion for customer support.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Answer multi line phone and redirect as necessary
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inbound customer calls and emails
  • Build rapport with each customer. Actively listen to customers’ requests and inquires.
  • Educate customers about features and benefits of product offering – suggesting additional products when appropriate.
  • Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues with shipments (incorrect shipments or damaged goods received)
  • Manage and utilize time effectively to meet service levels for improved customer satisfaction results.
  • Daily entry of customer orders to be released into production for processing.
  • Maintain & update customer special pricing file to assure accurate order entry.
  • Contact customers by phone and email to resolve any question to assure accurate order entry.
  • Provide freight quotation as needed by customers.
  • Verify and update contact information to include names, phone #s, email addresses for marketing, shipping, and accounts payables.
  • Processing return requests and customer service credits


Qualifications

Some of the skills/qualifications we will be looking for include the following:

  • Required knowledge and efficiency in Microsoft office products.
  • Understands being part of team working together to accomplish great things.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new stuff.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated problem resolution skills/experience.
  • Some knowledge and/or experience in customer service.

Compensation

Benefits package includes: Medical, Dental, 401 K and paid vacation (After 90 Days)

Hourly Rate: $17.00
