Registered Nurse Pool

Participates in the on-going treatment of clients including medication supervision, health education, assessment, case management, and provision of therapeutic services; provides staff orientation and training; assists in team supervision and participates in the planning, development and implementation of services.

REQUIREMENTS:

Possession of a Registered Nurse license from the State of Arizona

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of nursing, including community and preventative mental health.

Demonstrated skill in providing comprehensive nursing care, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain an effective and caring relationship with clients and their families.

Ability to provide in-service training as necessary.

Some knowledge of administrative, management, and supervisory practices.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team and with the public.

Knowledge of the cultural characteristics of various minority groups.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Other Potential Requirement

Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Availability to work evening and weekend hours

Possession of first aid and CPR certification.
