Engineering Intern

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting the engineering department in both manufacturing and design activities such as productivity assessments, proto-type builds, AutoCAD Inventor modeling, and supporting other engineering related projects. This is a summer internship position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned):

• Assist with prototype builds.
• Test and analyze current and new products.
• Implement continuous improvement suggestions.
• Support day to day production activity.
• Create 3-D models and prints for current and new designs.
• Perform other engineering related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field of study
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 preferred
• Able to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
• Excellent workflow, efficiency, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word & Excel
• Experienced or training in 3D modeling required, Autodesk Inventor experience preferred
