CTL Engineering is hiring a Marketing Coordinator | Proposal Writer!

CTL Engineering (www.ctleng.com) is an award winning, full service consulting engineering firm with (15) locations across OH, IN, WV, KY, NC, SC, and VA with a rich history over our (97) years in business. We provide civil/site design and land surveying, environmental, geotechnical, construction administration & inspection, accident reconstruction, roofing/building envelope, A/V system design, troubleshooting & installation, transportation design (bridge/roadway), and specialized testing services to the construction industry.

We are looking for a skilled Marketing Coordinator | Proposal Writer who will play a key role in our proposal activity, teaming requests, and creating/updating internal Corporate information. You’ll leverage your expertise in: technical/proposal writing, internal communications, and the full spectrum of marketing-related activities.

Highlights:

  • The role will be based out of our current office in Worthington – near I-270 – but we’ll be moving in early 2025 to our new office location in New Albany.
  • This role required an onsite presence at our office (no hybrid or remote work schedule for this role).

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Marketing Manager in supporting corporate/branch proposal activity, responding to teaming requests, updating corporate information, qualifications, and other related marketing materials with the main goal of increasing company revenue.
  • Design, coordinate and produce timely, accurate RFPs/RFQs/SF330, including writing resumes, project experience profiles and other company information.
  • Write non-technical portions of a proposal.
    • Edit, organize, and incorporate all written technical materials supplied by support groups.
  • Maintain updated information on staff members for purposes of writing resumes.
  • Handle outside teaming requests from clients/consultants.
  • Design, coordinate and write a quarterly newsletter that is sent to clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications preferred
  • 2-4+ years related marketing experience with an A/E/C professional services firm
  • Must have the ability to work will individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities under minimal supervision
