Summary:

A production assembly line worker, your main responsibility is to contribute to the efficient and smooth operation of the Production line.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to understand and follow assembly instructions, blueprints, and production schedules.
• Follow the Production line and schedules instruction to complete tasks within given time frames.
• Perform Production/assembly line tasks such as assembling, inspecting, and packaging according to company standards and specifications.
• Operate machinery and equipment as trained
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet quality standards and report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and productive working environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations as trained
• An employee will be required to follow any other job-related duties required by the Supervisor.

Job Specifics:

• Learn to operate the machine assigned to you. Familiarize yourself with its various functions
• Learn how to set the pitch on Vertical and Roll Cutting; which sets the size of the material that you’re cutting.

1. Once completing the order, place a tag on the cart recording type of size and material produced.
2. Place label on the roll to indicate what material; and place back on the rack in its proper place. If unsure of the placement, ask your supervisor
3. Learn and understand different types of material and the location of materials.

• Vertical Counting: Able to count and determine how many are needed for production.
• Roll Cutting: Assist with working the Roll Press.
• Work order: Understand the work orders provided to you and accurately record the work order accordingly. For proper documentation and tracking of the tasks you have completed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Ability to work with diverse group.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor.
• Must have good visual inspection skills.
• Must be able to wear various types of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to adapt flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and plant shut downs.
• Ability to have good eye/hand coordination.
• Ability to be able to lift 40 pounds without assistance.

Education/Training/Experience:

• Required, High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Prior experience in assembly line work or manufacturing is preferred, but not mandatory.
