First shift 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday – Friday, 40 hour a week. Manufacturing non remote position.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Perform precision inspection of Class I and Class II medical devices and Work closely with other departments within the business unit to ensure proper flow of production is met within area and to resolve quality problems.
- Understand the objectives, responsibilities, and mission of the Quality Control department and work towards those goals.
- Previous precision mechanical inspection experience; preferably in a medical device manufacturing environment.
- High level of experience in using micrometers, calipers, gage blocks/pins, optical comparators, torque meters, and tensile testing.
- Strong ability to apply mathematical concepts of addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals.
- Analyze print readings and interpret drawings, data and manuals to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures.
- Must be able to inspect, test, or measure materials, products, and work for conformance to specifications.
- Willingness and commitment to collaborate, lead and guide employees on the team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
- Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel.
- High school diploma
- At least 1-2 years of related experience.
- This is a day time, first shift position.
