Evara Health Institute’s Associate Director of Support Services (ADSS) plays a pivotal role in the student experience, from recruitment through each step of the student’s life cycle at EHI. The ADSS is focused on fostering a welcoming, supportive, and engaging campus environment and ensuring students have access to essential resources and services to help them succeed at EHI. The ADSS directly oversees the Institute’s admissions, library services, student retention, and student engagement. The ADSS works to recruit new students, to develop, implement, and monitor campus and program effectiveness plans, and student engagement activities. The ADSS also serves as the Institute’s Disability Services Coordinator.  Specifically, the Associate Director of Support Services serves in the following capacities. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and oversees a comprehensive student recruitment strategy to attract a diverse and qualified student body.
  • Collaborates with marketing and admissions teams to implement effective recruitment campaigns and outreach efforts.
  • Provides leadership and oversight to the admissions department, ensuring efficient and student friendly admission processes.
  • Develops and manages the implementation of a data-based community engagement plan aligned with student recruitment, retention, and placement goals and community partner collaboration priorities, including community event coordination and strategic partner development. 
  • Oversees the implementation of a campus engagement strategy that encourages student involvement in campus activities, clubs, and organizations and fosters a sense of belonging and community among students to enhance their overall educational experience.
  • Oversees the delivery of library services, including training on library resources, collection management, and gathering stakeholder feedback to enhance library offerings.  
  • Promotes the effective use of library resources to support academic success, providing access to educational resources, maintaining collections, and offering research support to students and faculty.
  • Leads campus student success and early warning meetings, planning, service delivery, and documentation activities.  
  • Ensures support services and support service team members remain compliant with federal, state, and accreditation agency regulations and Institute policies and procedures.
  • Serves as the campus Disability Services Coordinator, overseeing the provision of accommodations and support services to students with disabilities in compliance with relevant laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. 11.   
  • Strictly adheres to all Evara Health, HIPAA, HRSA, State, Federal and accreditation agency rules and regulations.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of three years of proven experience designing and delivering student services within an educational environment, post-secondary experience highly preferred. 
  • At least two years of leadership experience effectively overseeing, managing, and optimizing student service teams and systems in post-secondary educational programs.
  • Direct oversight of admissions and retention teams is strongly preferred.
