REQUIRED
Education

• Baccalaureate Degree with 30 Continuing Education Units (CEU) bi-annually
• National Certification as an Accredited Financial Counselor upon hire and remaining of contract

JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide education and enrichment services that focus on helping families build and maintain healthy relationships, strengthen interpersonal competencies and problem-solving skills, and help-seeking skills to master respective roles throughout the family life cycle. Conduct initial assessments and/or crisis assessments with action planning for education, skill building, or referral to other installation agencies or community resources. Conducts a local needs assessment and offers educational enrichment and/or prevention services that address the needs and preferences of its customers.

Assist customer in deciding if P&WL services will be helpful or if referral to other resources would be more appropriate.

Develop, build and coordinate classes for utilization throughout the M&FRC and the installation based on local community needs.

Conduct quarterly or semi-annually HeartLink orientations based on customer demand, set-up briefers and publicize the event. Maintain supply of coins for presentation. Funding to host event supplied.

Manage the installations Key Spouse Program. Conduct and provide Initial Key Spouse Training, Continuing Education, and Refresher Training for Key Spouse and Key Spouse Mentors using DAF standardized key Spouse training curriculum IAW DAFI36-3009. Maintain a file copy of the DD Form 2793 for each Key Spouse, certificate, and appointment orders.

Other functions include.

• Manage all aspects of the Employment Assistance (EA).
• Manage all aspects of the Crisis Support Program
• Support for Special Functions and Interest Requests.
