Palziv North America, an international leader in the cross-linked foam manufacturing industry is expanding and seeking a Maintenance Technician with technical ability, including basic tool knowledge applicable to preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, & repair. You will need to have experience in a manufacturing or production setting.

Can you perform the essential qualifications of the job? You will need to be able to lift 50lbs as necessary throughout your shift. You will need to be able to see to 20/20 with or without glasses.


As a Palziv Maintenance Technician you will be

  • Responsible for identifying equipment deficiencies and performing diagnostic testing.
  • Preparing maintenance records.
  • Maintaining a clean safe work area and working safely.
  • You will facilitate identification and requisition of parts from storeroom.
  • Performing highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
  • Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Performing simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Performing mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.


You will be working a 10 or 12 hour shift according to our department needs. This is a second shift position but you will need to train on day shifts between Mondays to Fridays

Preferred Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience; welding, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial skills with PLC programming, control wiring, and VFD installation/troubleshooting.
