Job Summary

This is a ground floor opportunity with a company that is building a national franchise model. We are in beginning our 3rd year and we are one of the fastest growing Signage companies in the US. We have made the decision to open a new site in Knoxville, TN, and we are looking to expand our team with experienced individuals within the Sign and Graphic Industry. While we will look to train others in various roles of this business, it is necessary to initially staff this with a team that has multiple skill sets but will eventually have a leadership role in the Production of Signage in the local market. To maintain our high performing culture and fun work environment, we seek someone that is a professional, self-motivated, a true team player with great interpersonal skills and values delivering excellence and efficiency. This role is detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced team environment, and can efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position requires you to be involved in daily decision making and we welcome exploring improvements to our business system. The successful candidate for this role values safety and efficiency, is self-confident with customers and is not afraid to show their professional ability, creative genius, and most importantly, have fun!

Responsibilities / Accountabilities


  • Sign and graphics design, production, and installations
  • Full-time (40 hours/week) and Part-time (Negotiable) spots available
  • From time to time, consult/interface with customers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area
  • Assist in maintaining company signage production and installation equipment
  • Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs
  • Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign industry professional
Qualifications


  • 1-5+ years of experience as a professional sign maker, production, or installer preferred
  • Background in vinyl creation and application
  • Large format digital printing a plus
  • Design creativity a plus
  • Expertise in using Adobe Design tool suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) a plus
  • Experience with RIP software
  • Vehicle wrap installation a plus
  • Knowledgeable in color management
  • Certified installation professional (3M, Avery, etc.) a huge plus
  • Proficient in the use of general shop tools and equipment
  • Possess a valid Drivers license.
  • Values safety, quality, production efficiency; well organized, and able to manage time well

  • This is an hourly wage position will be dependent of their experience level, capabilities, and skills
  • 2 weeks Personal Time Off (PTO), accrues immediately, carry over balance allowed not to exceed 30 days.
