Gym Front Desk Associate

We’re seeking someone with a sales-minded approach, excellent customer service skills, and a positive, energetic attitude for our next fitness sales associate. You should be passionate about health and fitness and thrive in an environment that pushes you to exceed personal and team goals. Our ideal candidate brings at least a year of sales experience along with a good understanding of how to prospect leads through telemarketing, cold calling, walk-ins, and member referrals. This shift is part-time, M-F from 4:45 PM to 9 PM.

$15+ hourly

• Resolve member concerns professionally and respectfully to address them through excellent customer service
• Greet members and guests at the studio, answer phones, and assist the front desk with various tasks
• Organize and manage promotion initiatives both inside and outside the studio
• Build the studio's member base through sales, onboarding new members, and exceptional customer service to maintain long-term customers
• Generate leads by various methods including doing outreach to prospective members by phone, text, email, and talking with prospects at local events and studio walk-ins

• Acquire leads by contacting, messaging, or emailing new potential members by engaging with them at local events or studio walk-ins
• Greet members and guests at the studio, answer phones, and assist the front desk with various tasks
• Maintain long-term clientele and grow the studio's membership base through sales, new member onboarding, and excellent customer service
• Manage and organize marketing efforts both within and outside of the studio
• Provide excellent customer service to resolve the problems of members in an impartial and professional way
• Answer calls quickly and positively
• Greet every member warmly
• Maintain cleanliness of the gym at all times
• Seek new sales opportunities
• Relay member complaints to the manager

• Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience required for this position
• Strong computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) are needed
• At least 1 year of sales experience or work in a similar role is preferred
• Stays organized and manages time well
