CounterTek is a small business in Ephrata, PA which manufactures countertops and vanities for the kitchen and bath industry.

We deliver to customers within a 120-mile radius of our site.

Our Delivery Drivers are our Brand Ambassadors, and our mission is to provide our customers with courteous and prompt service.

Our Delivery Driver position is open to candidates who are at least 21 years old with a clean driving record and one year of box truck delivery experience.

Candidates will be required to pass a drug screen.

A CDL is not necessary, but a DOT medical clearance is required. If you do not have a current DOT card, CounterTek will assist in this process.

This job requires the ability to safely maneuver up to 100 pounds.

The hours for this position are: Muesday-Friday, 5:30 am -2:00 pm with a few hours of overtime each week.

All employees will be granted benefits after 90 days.

After 1 year of service, all employees are eligible to contribute to a 401K. CounterTek will match up to 4% in contributions.

The position requires attention to the changing traffic patterns and road hazards. It requires defensive driving. Delivery drivers are behind the wheel of a truck for long periods of time in all kinds of weather.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to drive, walk, bend, lift, and carry.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma general education or equivalent.

Valid professional driver's license.

Six (6+) months professional driving experience is required.

Good driving record with no traffic violations.

Drivers will perform the following tasks:

Daily Safety inspection of the truck assigned: check tires, fluids, lights, evidence of any leaks on ground beneath vehicle, brakes, etc. All issues should be reported to the Plant Manager or written on the Vehicle Maintenance Request list above the timecards if the issue does not require immediate attention.

Drive safely to the destinations and deliver items to different addresses and through different routes within deadlines.

Analyze delivery addresses and determine appropriate routes to most efficiently complete all stops.

Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle. Keep the vehicle clean outside and inside.

Maintain driving log if applicable, and complete daily paperwork.

Notify customer service if an issue should arise so that it can be resolved quickly.

Help to provide exceptional service by passing on information regarding customer concerns, quality issues, potential delays in delivery timeframes.

Obtain signed packing slip from each customer and collect payments from COD customers.

Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.

Adhere to company operating policies and procedures.

Part Time Delivery Drivers are expected to help cover time off and illness if necessary.

Driver may be asked to assist in the warehouse when needed.

Salary:

This role pays "hourly" at $20.00/hr., plus Overtime. Our Driver's average at least $50K/yr., plus benefits.
