Job Description

Parts Manager

Oversees the parts department, including inventory management, customer service, sales, and staff supervision. Responsible for the operation of the auto parts department. This includes managing inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, supervising staff and maximizing sales and profitability.


Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and stocking parts and accessories. • Monitor inventory turnover and adjust stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory. • Conduct regular inventory audits to identity discrepancies and implement corrective measures. • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in selecting the right parts and accessories for their vehicle. • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster repeat business and referrals. • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability. • Promote upselling and cross-selling of related products and services. • Set and achieve sales targets and performance goals for the parts department. • Provide coaching and ongoing training to ensure staff members are knowledgeable and capable of delivering excellent customer service. • Establish and maintain relationships with parts suppliers and vendors. • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with supplies to secure favorable terms and competitive pricing. • Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for changes when necessary. • Develop and manage the parts department budget, including expenses and revenue forecasts. • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures when needed. • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards. • Maintain a safe and organized parts department environment. • Handle hazardous materials and waste in accordance with safety protocol.

• Experience in auto parts.

• Leadership and team management abilities.

• Basic computer competencies.

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
