Receptionist- Admissions Clerk

KPC Promise Hospital of Wichita Falls: Receives all incoming calls and transfers them to the appropriate area. Takes messages or transfers calls to voice mail for the employees that are not available, directs visitors and family members to appropriate areas, as well as other assigned duties from Administration. Performs and provides administrative support services for the admission process. Conducts special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Customer service experience is a must.

3. One year of experience in a similar position

4. Basic knowledge of Microsoft office products: word, excel required

5. Excellent organizational, communication and judgment skills a must

6. Good written and verbal skills

7. Must be able to read, write and speak English

8. Bilingual preferred

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical: Walking - up to 25% Standing - up to 25% Kneeling – up to 10%

EXPOSURE RISK: Category III - Jobs in which required tasks involve no greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MATERIALS, MACHINES USED: Computer, telephone, facsimile machine, copier, scanner, printer, calculator and other standard office equipment.
