Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Contract Length: 10 weeks (likely to extend) (32 hours per week guaranteed)

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Pharmacist to provide coverage for one of several pharmacies in the Spokane area. This is a contract position with a competitive pay rate of $70 per hour.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries.

- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

- Oversee pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

- Assist in managing inventory and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.

- Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to maintain a smooth workflow.

Requirements:

- At least one year of Pharmacist experience.

- Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of assignment.

- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Pharmacy or Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.).

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription verification.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of and adherence to pharmacy laws and regulations.
