Head Teller

Job Summary:

The Head Teller provides sets the standard of excellent service in our branches as they work alongside and coordinate activities of tellers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conducts a variety of financial transactions for customers
• Coordinates and assigns duties and work schedules of teller staff to ensure efficient functioning of branch
• Reviews teller transactions to ensure accuracy
• Consolidates and balances daily transactions
• Monitors supply of cash to ensure appropriate supply based on legal requirements and business demand
• Makes recommendations for and implements procedures within guidelines to improve efficiency
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• High attention to detail
• Ability to effectively lead others

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

• At least one year of progressively responsible experience in a financial institution
