Material Handler (2nd shift)

Purem is currently hiring Fulltime Material Handlers in our brand-new Louisville, KY facility. This Monday – Friday position offers opportunity to advance your career while maintaining a work/life balance. Material Handlers are responsible for performing various physical and administrative duties in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse/production environment. The Material Handler will operating material handling equipment while following OSHA guidelines in a safe, team-oriented environment. Must have forklift experience.

Material Hander Job Duties

• Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications
• Determine routing and legal load limits of trucks according to state regulations
• Supply parts and components to all department cells in a timely manner
• Follow cleaning and maintenance procedures in accordance with 5S
• Operate and maintain forklift, tugger, reach truck and doc loaders
• Complete daily operator checklist

• Pick service parts and special orders for shipment

• Other duties as assigned
• Use handheld scanners to inventory material in warehouse and production floor

Material Handler Qualification

• Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted
• Must have basic math skills
• Ability to work in loud and noisy environment
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and procedures
• Team player
• Recent experience in Material Handler setting
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Forklift Certification
