Truck Driver Position Details
Truck Drivers will complete single-stop farm pickups and deliver live chickens to the processing plant.
Deliveries average less than 110 miles from the plant.
Trudk Drivers will average 15-20 loads per week, no loading.
100% of loads are live loaded (avg 35 - 45 minutes)
Truck Drivers are required to check straps and chains to ensure cages are correctly fastened to trailers.
No Unloading: 100% drop & hook.
Truck Driver Special Requirements:
The first driver to the farm will have a Moffett on their trailer.
The driver is required to take the Moffett off the trailer and the last driver load it back on. Drivers are not responsible for loading the cages onto the trailer with Moffett.
Drivers are responsible for securing chicken cages onto the flatbed trailer with hooks and binders.
Tractor Trailer Truck Info:
Heavy Duty Day Cabs
All automatic transmissions - NO MANUALS!
Newer model trucks (1-2 years old) with consistent trade plans.
Trucks equipped with CB Radios, 2-way Radios, brush guard, floor mats, and boot brushes on steps.
Trucks will be left at the account for time off.
Passengers/pets are not permitted.
