JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Ground Power Mechanic

Department: OSC Ground Support

Reports To: Ground Power Manager


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Perform maintenance and repairs to company vehicles and stationary equipment

2. Conduct routine inspections of equipment; operate vehicles when necessary

3. Following safety rules and procedures

4. Aptitude in using various hand tools and precision measurement tools.

5. Diagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manuals


QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate: Certifications are helpful.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
