Role Details
Full-time position. Monday-Friday, on-call status e/o weekend and e/o holiday. Assists with open shifts.
Role Responsibilities
1. Assist to ensure daily staffing requirements are met
2. Communicate with pharmacy regarding new orders, discrepancies, etc
3. Prepare for and round with providers
4. Communicate with families regarding changes in condition, recommendations from provider, and any adverse events
5. Communicate with BAC laboratory and nursing staff to address resident needs and maintain lab records
6. Assist DON with maintenance of working spreadsheets and audits for skin, falls, infection control, and weights
7. Educate and train on current state and federal regulations
Skills and Qualifications
1. YOU!
2. Graduate of an accredited nursing program
3. Current MN nursing license – Registered Nurse license required
4. Caring demeanor, positive attitude, has a T.E.A.M outlook
5. Work effectively with minimal supervision, strong communication skills, and ability to lead a group of people in completing tasks.
6. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
7. Experience in long term care setting helpful
