Job Summary
Karvonen's is looking for a Delivery & Warehouse Manager to join our team! As the Delivery & Warehouse Manager, you are a key member of our delivery operations team! You are responsible for managing warehouse inventory, vehicles, delivery schedules, and delivery team. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain & manage inventory at all locations
• Unload incoming shipments and store in designated locations
• Schedule daily delivery routes
• Manage and Assist Delivery & Warehouse team
• Train Delivery & Warehouse team on safe handling practices, equipment safety, and vendor-specific information
• Manage Product Transfer process
• Manage vendor returns, damages, and repairs
• Assist office staff in quickly resolving customer service issues
• As needed, Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
• Follow route and schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jack
• Maintain buildings, vehicles, and equipment
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs consistently

Qualifications:

• Experience or demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team - we will also train the right person
• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Safe Driving Record
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck and pickup
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
• Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs consistently
• Must be able to work rotating Saturdays
