Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Delivery Drivers
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of delivery drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of auto parts to customers.
• Manage the daily operations of the delivery team, including monitoring driver performance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with customers, both internal and external, to ensure that all delivery expectations are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve delivery issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Train new delivery drivers and ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to perform their job duties.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure that all orders are accurately picked and staged for delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, routes, and customer interactions.
POSITION: DELIVERY DRIVER LEAD
• Collect payment from customers and ensure that all transactions are completed accurately.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong work ethic among delivery drivers.
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales and warehouse, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of products.
• Oversee the accurate and timely submission of payroll activities. Including and not limited to timekeeping, approvals of PTO, Sick, etc.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on delivery or logistics.
• Prior experience leading a team of delivery drivers or related experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on the spot.
• Ability to operate a delivery truck or van.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with delivery management software and systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in transportation operations.
